Sobre HEIC2
HEIC2 es una herramienta gratuita que convierte imágenes HEIC a PNG, JPG y JPEG. Construimos esta plataforma para resolver un problema simple: el formato HEIC de Apple no es universalmente compatible.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make image conversion simple, private, and accessible to everyone. We believe that converting your photos should not require installing bulky software, creating accounts, or compromising your privacy. HEIC2 was created to fill that gap with a clean, fast, and secure solution.
Our Story
HEIC2 started as a response to a common frustration. Apple devices have used HEIC as the default image format since iOS 11, but many platforms and applications still do not support it. Users frequently encounter compatibility issues when sharing photos with non-Apple users or uploading to websites that only accept JPEG or PNG. We decided to build a converter that handles this problem elegantly, without the bloat and privacy concerns of existing solutions.
Our Values
- Privacy First: Your images never leave our servers without encryption. We automatically delete uploaded files within one hour. We do not sell, share, or analyze your images.
- Quality Matters: We preserve the original quality of your images during conversion. There is no unnecessary compression or resolution reduction.
- Accessible to All: Our tool is free, works on any device, and does not require registration. We believe essential tools should be available to everyone.
- Continuous Improvement: We are constantly improving our conversion engine, adding new features, and expanding format support based on user feedback.
How It Works
HEIC2 uses browser-based image processing powered by WebAssembly to convert your files. When you select a HEIC image, the conversion happens entirely on your own device using the heic2any library. No data is ever sent to our servers. This means your images stay completely private, conversions are instant, and there are no file size limits beyond what your device can handle.
The Team
HEIC2 is maintained by a small team of developers who care about user privacy and software quality. We believe in building tools that respect users and their data. If you have suggestions or feedback, we would love to hear from you.
